Local advisory group PDF Print E-mail

A Local Advisory Group has been set up for the Outer Hebrides and had its first meeting on 16 November 2012. The group will provide advice to SEPA and the Comhairle as lead authority at key stages of the Flood Risk Management planning process. In addition to the meetings, individual stakeholders will be contacted to provide contributions to the development of the FRM Plan.

The area covered by the Local Advisory Group includes the Outer Hebrides, north west mainland Scotland, and many of the islands of the Inner Hebrides. A Membership Pack has been produced which aims to explain the background information on Flood Risk Management and is available for download by clicking here.
